Campo Volunteer Fire Department serves the Town of Campo and the south central part of Baca County. The Campo VFD has been serving the Campo community with pride and dedication since the 1950’s. Our primary response area covers about 500,000 acres or about 550 square miles. Our fleet contains 5 wildland engines, 1 rescue truck and one currently certified type 1 FMC pumper. Our current roster consists of 14 volunteer firefighters. We also do mutual aid with all surrounding fire departments, in-state and out-of-state, wherever we are called. Due to the dedication of our members and the community our ISO status has been raised to a Level 5.
